Massage Thaïlandais traditionnel sur futon

Thai massage (Nuad Bo'Rarn) is a body work combining muscle stretching, kneading, hammering and thumb pressure.

The postures applied during the massage are similar to the Asanas of Hatha Yoga. Thus this massage makes it possible to read the movements of the body to detect and attenuate the tensions responsible for aches and pains. The idea is to open up the joints and restore flexibility to the body.

Thai massage belongs to oriental therapies. It is therefore based on the principle of energy work. Vital energy is called Lhom. In the same way as in traditional Chinese medicine, the body is traversed by a network of invisible energy lines (meridians) called Sen.

Massaging points on these Sen can cure certain illnesses or relieve pain.

Thai massage restores the flow of energies inside a person. It frees the body from the tensions accumulated by stress. This massage is suitable for pregnant women.

After a Thai massage we breathe better, we sleep better. Mental fatigue disappears at the same time as vitality and body awareness increase.
