Emotional and sensible massage

The relationship between body and mind has been known for a long time. It has been particularly studied in Chinese medicine. Western medicine has separated these different aspects into mental medicine, physiological medicine or medicine of the body. Traditional Asian medicines consider that body and mind are one and that you cannot touch one without affecting the other.

The body is the mirror of the mind. Thus, whatever the mind feels will be represented and stored in the body. Not all parts of the body will be connected to emotional tensions in the same way. Some are not at all (feet, hands and face), while others are particularly interesting. The most sensitive are the belly (the second brain), the ribs, the upper chest, the middle and the lower back. On these areas, there are specific energy points (see Tuina) which are very effective in relieving emotional tension.

Most of the traumas that can create emotional tensions appear during childhood. The brain defends itself by repressing emotions, because we don't necessarily have the intellectual tools to understand these emotions at this age. They are then registered in the body/brain chemistry (reactions and metabolic functions.
